More than 200 TELUS team members, alumni, family and friends volunteered over 640 hours in the Quebec City region. As a result:

  • 6000 stuffed toys were sorted, 12000 lego blocks, 50 large toys and 30 dolls were cleaned for Réno-Jouets
  • more than 50 branches were removed from trees along the Projet Promenade Samuel de Champlain
  • approximately 50 bags of garbage were picked up from the Véloroute de la Chaudière in Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce

We are so appreciative for the help that the TELUS volunteers gave us today. Some of them have volunteered here for 3 consecutive years. They have all been very compassionate and this is a very nice initiative. We hope to see you again next year.

Annie Asselin, Réno-Jouets

I had to say how much I appreciate all the help that TELUS volunteers gave to cleaning the Tequenonday Wood on May 31. I was very impressed by the kid’s and team’s determination to make this green space a more inviting place for all visitors. The Promenade Samuel-De Champlain will officially open on June 24th.

Christian Sommellier, National Capital Commission

We appreciate the TELUS members’ involvement and we mentioned it as much as we could to all those that we saw during the activity as this was so important to us. Thanks to all as it will help us to continue with new energy and enthusiasm.
