More than 600 TELUS team members, alumni, family and friends volunteered over 2700 hours in the Montreal region. As a result:
- a total of 417 meals combined were prepared and served at both Accueil Bonneau and Promis
- over 1300 shrubs and flowers were planted in flower beds and along the parking lot at l'Hôpital de Montréal pour Enfants
- more than 2030 calls were answered and over $55,000 was raised for the Opération Enfant Soleil Telethon

Team Journal
I spent an excellent morning with all of you on Saturday and I want to emphasize how much I admired the commitment everyone made. The weather wasn’t the best but we forged ahead in order to help improve the living conditions of these patients.
Some of the patients braved the elements to watch us work and this gave us the opportunity to speak to them. I was surprised and amazed at their good sense of humour and positive attitude. Their smiles made us feel extra special.
A big thank you once again to TELUS and all the people who organized this day. They let me make a modest contribution to beautifying this garden. We can all be proud of it and when we pass by in few months or a few years from now, we can say: “We were there!” (SOVERDI - Écoquartier St-Jacques)

We went to the Accueil Bonneau to serve a meal to the less fortunate. We servered 522 meals from 8am to 12pm (as this is what time the Accueil closes on Saturday). It was an unforgettable experience.
