I had the privilege of being part of a simple and powerful solution this weekend when I turned out with a group of my fellow team members for the TELUS Day of Service.
Green Venture is a non-profit organization which works with the City of Hamilton to improve our local environment and economy.
It seems easy enough. Get up a little early; spend a few hours getting my hands dirty with some of my fellow team members. When I add our effort to the thousands of other team members doing their own small parts across the country, the simple idea embodied in the Day of Service really is awe-inspiring.
It is a cause everyone on the team embraced, because its potential impact on our collective future.
One caring and committed team left the world a better place than they found it this weekend… in just a few hours.
